Alexey Nyaga was born in Leningrad in 1979. He graduated from the St Petersburg State Rimsky-Korsakov Conservatory.
Nyaga conducted the Orchestra of the State Academic Capella, Hermitage Orchestra, State Academic Symphony Orchestra; worked as a choirmaster and conductor for the Mikhailovsky Theatre. Since 2008 he has been the conductor of the Music Theatre for Children Zazerkal’e.
